Knowing Too Much
Ignorance Can Be Bliss
These days, we can know too much. And while it sometimes can be a great benefit to know the tiniest details of events, both bitter and sweet, there are also times when knowing less about the future, our situations, and the world can be beneficial. Being blissfully ignorant does not mean ignoring vital information or shutting out the world’s tragedies. Rather, it is a way to step away from knowledge that may only needlessly have a negative impact on your life experience. It’s not always necessary to expose yourself to information that will overwhelm you, hold you back, or cause you pain. Sometimes, ignorance can be truly blissful.

While having all the information you need can help you make an informed decision, sometimes knowing all the information can be excess. Especially when you are trying to pursue a goal, the knowledge of all the ways in which you might fail can keep you from even trying. Blissful ignorance can sometimes propel you forward because you never even knew that the possibility of failure existed. Ignorance can also be bliss when you are facing hardships. If circumstances force you to take on a job you dislike, you may enter your new situation with unpleasant and preconceived notions that can likely create the very scenarios you are dreading. Experiencing a situation with no expectations and no advanced notions can allow you to experience it as new, because your blissful ignorance prevented you from having any preset ideas.

There is nothing wrong with avoiding “too much information,” particularly when the knowledge isn’t going to serve you. When information is emotionally draining, impedes your progress, causes distress, or isn’t necessary to your experience, consider letting it pass you by. Remember the bliss of ignorance can sometimes be a gift.

FINDING SOMETHINGS THAT MISSING…

Posted in C-Wise Talk, Uncategorized on November 12, 2008 by cwise26

Its about almost 8pm and i thought yesterday was one of those days…

One of those days where everything you can almost remember in your entire life has happen and when and where this and that went wrong. For those who stay with this blog and for those just checking in…

this entry is about well when you feel you the only one in your own corner. when you feel your all you got when in ways you are all you got ive been to so many places and have so many friends growing up i was always the one in the mix but from the sideline i tryed to make my acting repersent me and that was through sport. Or even being the fact of who i knew and what i knew and whos in my company.

A very Wise not gonna say to old because she might go hard on me.. told me something that kinda hit home. She asked “what have you done.yet?” all these friends of yours have got there or doing major things” and that i was destine for greatness….The only thing i could say to that was pretty much nothing. And it makes me think all that i have done and was doing isnt where i NEED to be or SHOULD be at. I keep hearing from folks be patient and i am honestly but its TIME. Time to stop beign as patient and start taking what i want! And it all starts with me…

Ive been whats missing…

Myself.

When i sit back and point fingers and place blame i see to many that arent even at my level catching breaks and opportunities. I still have no idea what my place in life really is… and i sit and try to conversate with God and ask what is it! what am i supposed to be doing..why?

Now its time to make my own History and put my own place in it. Christian Wise…C-Wise…Christian Peter Anthony Wise must become a household name. And the things i want i couldnt have because i wasnt ready. Women, Family, Career, Being Stable i wasnt ready for it @ all it was for me to struggle in pain & slients for some many years.

Now Its Time To Stop The Pain…And Make The World My Playground As It Should!

The Renegade Is Loose. We Repeat, the Renegade Is Loose.

The Secret Service takes a lot of risks for the first family. So it’s only fair that the agency gets the honor of coming up with code names for the president-elect and his family. Various sources within the Buzz recently revealed the not-so-secret nicknames.

Mr. Obama will be known as “Renegade” (move over, Lorenzo Lamas). Michelle, a woman of many talents, will be referred to as “Renaissance.” Malia Obama’s name will be “Radiance,” while little sister Sasha’s will be “Rosebud.”

And what of the Bidens? We were hoping the Secret Service would stick to the “R” theme and dub Joe “Rogaine.” Alas, his name will be “Celtic.” His wife Jill will be “Capri.” A bit boring, but hey, nobody asked us for our opinion.

Too bad, because while we don’t have the power to assign nicknames to the world’s most powerful family, we can dig up the most popular nicknames in Search. Here they are below for your enjoyment. And if you have your own ideas for code names for the future first family, chime in below. Buzz Log, over and out.2281989664_e0f07a6494

Obama Promises A New Dawn of American Leadership

McCain Graciously Concedes to Obama, the Nation’s First Black President

Barack Obama cruised to victory Tuesday night in an historic triumph that promised change, overcame centuries of prejudice and fulfilled Martin Luther King’s dream that a man be judged not by the color of his skin, but by the content of his character.

Obama, a first-term senator with little experience on the national level, made history by becoming the nation’s first black president and defeating Sen. John McCain in a landslide.

In his acceptance speech before some 150,000 supporters in Grant Park in Chicago, Obama complimented McCain on a hard-fought campaign and promised that a “new dawn of American leadership is at hand.”

“It’s been a long time coming, but tonight, because of what we did on this day, in this election, at this defining moment, change has come to America,” Obama said, echoing a key theme of his campaign.

Looking ahead to an economic crisis and turbulent foreign affairs, he told the sea of supporters, “There are many who won’t agree with every decision or policy I make as president, and we know that government can’t solve every problem. But I will always be honest with you about the challenges we face.”

Obama was joined by his wife, Michelle, and daughters Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7, and he again paid tribute to his grandmother, Madelyn Dunham, who died Monday a day before his historic triumph.

He had a special message, however, for his daughters.

“Sasha and Malia, I love you both so much,” he said, “and you have earned the new puppy that’s coming with us to the White House.”

Real Wrap This Is One Of The Proudest moments in my life and just being the fact im apart of this history i feel proud like i won! God Bless The Obama’s! Bur Now Comes The Rougher Times For US as People before the good times come… Those before me and my family members that arent here i feel a certain type of way because this is it…The history books are now Rewritten…We made it!
